SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Birmingham Duration: full-time, ASAP Salary: £60-75 per day Role description: We are recruiting for a great SEN school in the Birmingham area that are seeking an experienced Teacher to work with them on a full-time basis ASAP. This will be working with 4-19-year old’s starting ASAP on a full-time basis. The school wants a Teaching Assistant who has strong knowledge and experience of SEN needs mentioned below when working with the students. The day to day responsibility of the teaching assistant is to work with a student 1:1 with a range of different needs which include SEMH, SEBD and ADHD. You will be providing support to the student who can have behavioural and communication difficulties. The focus of the teaching assistant is to support the student effectively, manage and develop their behaviour in a positive manner. The TA should be nurturing and who can offer positive reinforcement to these pupils and their lives and be able to provide the pupil with the ability to grow in confidence and form positive relationships with the people in the community.
