Digital Trainer

Job description

University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic and thriving group of hospitals in the heart of Bristol, a vibrant and culturally diverse city. We have over 9,000 staff who deliver regional tertiary and specialist commissioning for over 100 clinical services across eight sites within the city, including the renowned Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and Bristol Heart Institute.

With a strong emphasis on the sharing of health and care information across the community, UHBristol’s digital vision is for all staff to have access to the information they need, when they need it, without having to look for a piece of paper, wait for a computer or ask the patient again. Being appointed as a Global Digital Exemplar means we can realise this vision by implementing digital technologies that will help us to transform the way we work and how we relate to our colleagues, patients and partner organizations.

We are now looking for a Digital Trainer to cover a 12 month maternity leave period in the Digital Training Team. This post will help us deliver on our ambitions as a Global Digital Exemplar to make UHBristol one of the country’s leading digital hospitals within a health and care community that has embraced integrated digital working at a fundamental level.

Working in a challenging environment, you will be expected to have a proven track record in delivering traditional training techniques as well as contributing with a flexible and imaginative approach combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a proven track record in the successful delivery of digital learning. Above all, you will also need to be extremely well organized, energetic and enthusiastic. If this is you, and you like the idea of helping to make digital happen in Bristol, then we’d like to hear from you.
