Apprentice Business Administrator

Job description          

You will learn to understand and deliver the administration and back office support needed to complete and process financial and mortgage applications. In addition you will also be involved within the (more general) day to day operations to make a small business function. The successful applicant will be expected to multi-task, and (with guidance) prioritise work load. The role will develop into working alongside and supporting the Mortgage Advisors who are dealing with lenders and client queries. Tasks will include: Data entry Dealing with lender and client queries over the phone, by letter and by email Diary management, filing and other admin tasks as directed Requirements and prospects Desired skills Good IT skills required Intermediate level word and excel skills needed Personal qualities Good telephone manner, time management skills are important The right applicant will ideally have had experience in a customer facing environment (either paid or voluntary) Punctuality and attention to detail are expected Desired qualifications GCSE Grade C/4 and above in maths and English or equivalent A level qualifications or equivalent preferred, but not necessery Future prospects This is a fantastic opportunity for someone, who has chosen not to go into further education, but who really wants professional qualifications. The role will enable the applicant to gain experience and qualifications whilst working as a mortgage and protection administrator, and to progress towards becoming a Researcher & Paraplanner.
