Customer Care Team Adviser

Job description          

Based in Bath, the customer care team is part of our busy award-winning contact centre, providing a professional, high-quality service to our customers. We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a customer care team adviser.
We put customers first and aim to resolve enquiries first time, every time, so it's a role that often involves working with other departments and external parties in order to get the job done. You'll participate in a shift and standby rota, maintain accurate up-to-date information about changes within the business and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills. If you can do all that and strive to improve performance standards for yourself, your team and the department, the opportunities for career progression within the business are excellent.
The role includes:
managing contact throughout the journey of customer incidentshelping to manage call volumes by handling a variety of operational enquiries and complaints over the phone during busy periods and day to day via live chat and SMSchecking customer satisfaction by completing customer experience surveys via telephone or SMS and acting upon any negative feedbackworking as a team and actively contributing to its success. Applications are sought from individuals with:
excellent telephone manner and all round communication skillsexperience of delivering outstanding customer servicethe ability to organise, problem solve, use initiative, multitask and work under pressure with good attention to detaila flexible and positive approach, who are comfortable with the need to change priorities from time to timegood IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlookfive GCSEs at grade C or above in English language and maths. You must be able to demonstrate proof of skills gained and eligibility to work in the UK. All new employees will be subject to a basic criminal disclosure check.
