Resourcing Project Support Officer

BJSS’s Bristol Office is a rapidly expanding, digital delivery hub, working with large blue-chip clients, government agencies, and innovative start-ups to produce award-winning software solutions.
The Resourcing Project Support Office (RPSO) will be a key component of the Bristol team, co-ordinating the project functions which keep the project centre delivering. We have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and we’re looking for an individual who will help us retain this environment as we grow. Accountabilities Accurately maintaining resourcing documents with up to date information on a daily basis Tracking all current unfilled opportunities and highlighting those that have not been filled in the required timescales Ensuring systems have been updated to reflect all resource moves Monitoring the amount of time spent on all types of activities and that the Operations and Management teams have a clear view of the current and future bench position Identifying any trends in time booked and highlighted bookings outside of expectations Ensuring that we provide clear visibility of resourcing supply and demand for senior management. Documenting actions from Resourcing Meetings with resourcing team Collaborating with cross-company resourcing to understand wider company bench statuses & opportunities to provide information for decision making Managing Bench Activities – ensuring people are using time effectively Understanding the resource requests from various areas of the business and reporting on it Ensure internal staff profiles are up-to-date, and CVs can be produced in the BJSS format to enable us to share with perspective clients Daily proactive data analysis and resolving of the internal data to help influence resourcing decisions Co-ordination of staff onto new projects, including initial conversations Identification and production of ad hoc LT with reports where required for MI Co-ordination of background screening and security vetting processes for new projects
Experience We're ideally looking for someone who has Worked in a similar role currently/previously Experience working with the O365 suite with solid Excel skills Worked across multiple internal systems, such as Salesforce or similar High levels of integrity and initiative who is results-driven Strong stakeholder skills: ability to build relationships, understand needs and advise on priorities Strong attention to detail, with experience of interacting with complex data Ability to work effectively under pressure, to meet tight deadlines and respond positively to changing demands Worked in a highly changeable environment, is highly adaptable, and willing to “muck-in” to get the job done
