Head of Health, Safety and Environment

£42,000 - £46,000

About the role:
We are looking for a well organised and innovative Health & Safety professional to help develop and deliver ambitious plans for our Environmental and Safety strategies both in the UK and in our overseas offices. In this new role, you will be responsible for reviewing, improving, building and implementing on our existing strategies, as well as recommending new procedures for areas such as travel safety.

We are striving to reach carbon reduction targets in UK and are developing these worldwide. This role will require vision as well as excellent collaboration and influencing skills at all levels and in all areas of the business. Similar skills will also be required when becoming a trusted safety advisor to our overseas offices to ensure appropriate levels of health and safety are being maintained in all of our operations worldwide.

About you:
You will be able to demonstrate our six behavioural values; collaborative, decisive, empowering, innovative, responsible and responsive. Others will look to you for guidance, so you will thrive on working with multiple teams, offering excellent communication lines and having a clear sense of direction and purpose.

You will have a proven track record in the Health, Safety and Environmental field, with a history of creating and successfully implementing strategic goals. The role will require extensive experience in a similar role along with a NEBOSH Diploma qualification.
