DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides customers with up-to-date travel information; receives and confirms reservations for on and off-island tours (group and individual) by mail, phone, email, fax and personal contact; provides information in person or over the telephone in response to travel inquiries; accepts payment, makes change; prepares and safeguards cash receipts; as required prepares daily cashier's report, daily activity report and bank deposits, and may prepare consolidated daily activity report. Works weekends and holidays as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Applicant must have experience in responsible clerical or office work in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Ability to resolve common arithmetic problems and make change when receiving payments from customer. Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Experience involving public contact or service is desirable. Satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check is required.
