Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre Finance Co-ordinator (Part Time, Fixed Term)

Job description          

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre is seeking to recruit an experienced part-time (30 hours per week) Finance Coordinator to join the Centre's administrative team. The post holder will be responsible for the management of and reporting on the Centres' finances. This is a varied and interesting role involving liaison with a wide variety of staff at all levels, in particular you will assist senior academics, the Centre Manager, and the Centre's Director for the purposes of providing information and management on all financial matters relating to the Centre. The successful candidate will be educated to HND, HNC or equivalent, and hold an accountancy qualification together with experience in financial operations and planning. You will possess organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly present and explain information. In addition, you will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to make decisions, to work well under pressure and meet exact deadlines. You will be an excellent team worker, quickly able to develop good working relationships within the Centre. You will have demonstrated the ability to work in a self-directed and autonomous manner, while ensuring that the Centre needs are being met. The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre is established within the Department of Oncology at the University of Cambridge. Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2022 in the first instance.
