The role of the NEP Inspection Lead involves communicating and influencing through a number of diverse organisations and people, including Ineos Procurement, Ineos Assets, suppliers of plant and equipment, specialist fabrication companies, site fabrication companies, INEOS Technical Authorities and Plant Inspection engineers.
The post holder typically interacts with senior people in supplier organisations when carrying out audits and assessments - Managing Director, Engineering Manager, etc.,
The post holder leads and/or participates in QA/QC audits providing technical expertise, assessment and assurance of new and existing manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and materials, working closely with the Technical Authorities and Compliance Team.
Plays a lead role in assisting the NEP Quality Manager and procedure owners in further developing the projects’ procedures and systems such that they meet INEOS objectives with respect to the development of Quality Assurance standards.
Due to the location of some equipment manufacturers, the post holder must be able to work remote from the site with no immediate supervision and have the confidence and competence to make the correct decisions regarding integrity assurance.
