We are looking for a Flow Coordinator, to be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the use of beds within the acute medical unit (AMU) and the same day emergency care (SDEC) you will be able to manage your own workload to achieve efficient flow from the emergency department (ED), working to help drive the national performance targets for emergency care and simultaneously keeping flow from the GP admitting area to the acute medical unit.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that patients move across the hospital to the speciality area that they require. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with multiples members of the multi disciplinary teams.
You will be enthusiastic, a real team player and have the ability to keep calm when working in a high pressured environment.
