We are a friendly and welcoming Management Accounts team in the Trust’s Finance Department with a vacancy for a full-time Band 4 Finance Systems Administrator.
Supporting mainly the Finance and Procurement departments, and reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, you will be engaged in all aspects of financial operations and systems administration :
Providing the first point of contact for Financial Systems users with technical and systems problems
Supporting the work of Management Accounts in monthly financial reporting: to load interfaces and central journals, run reports and help address ad-hoc queries during the month end process.
Assisting in the production of information to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
Assisting in the maintenance and development of intra and inter-departmental system links and interfaces (Payroll, Procurement, Technical Accounts, Management Accounts)
Identifying systems weaknesses and needs, and supporting the Finance Systems Manager in the development and testing of appropriate solutions in conjunction with internal and external staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a personable and professional manner. Ideally you will have NHS Finance experience and some accounting, IT or technical qualification, but we will also consider those who are qualified by experience. Aptitude and potential are key attributes and we are happy to be flexible around experience where we see this.
