The E-roster department is looking to employ a full time Band 4 Systems Administrator for this evolving service where further system implementation is required across new areas plus on-going support for current system users.
The role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is organised, adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure. A sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and excellent IT skills are required with ideally, some knowledge of system testing. This work will involves periods of prolonged VDU concentration
With an analytical mind and being people friendly you will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a small team. You will have excellent communication and training skills and ideally some supervisory experience.
You will be working with staff at all levels and across different departments. With the ability to verify data and a common sense approach to problem solving you will be welcomed to work within our small friendly team.
An understanding of rostering/rotas and roster principles and processes would be a distinct advantage but a willingness to embrace new ways of working is welcomed. Bespoke system training may be required dependent upon your skills.
