We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Temporary Staffing Service to assist in providing a temporary workforce to clinical and non-clinical areas across the Trust
The duties are wide ranging and varied and will require you to work on your own initiative and/or part of a busy team. The applicant will have a good standard of education and must have GSCE grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
IT skills are essential and are an integral part of the role, competence in Microsoft Office, Excel, spreadsheets and databases are essential as will data management and report writing. Experience of electronic organisational bank/agency booking systems is desirable. Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills both written and verbally are essential as there is frequent liaising on a formal twice daily basis ( bed meetings) with clinical and non-clinical leads, department managers, Clinical Site Team, Medical staff, Trust board members, external agencies and Duty managers in respect to staffing levels, rostering, staff redeployment and providing a comprehensive summary of staffing data. Innovation, creative thinking, initiative, flexibility, motivation and a sense of humour are essential skills. The role involves adaptability and flexibility to the sometimes rapid changing environment and staffing demands.
The successful applicants will work 150hr over a four week (37.5hrs per week) roster period that will include weekends and bank/public holidays and evenings. The position is a band 3 and will involve completion of competency framework.
