Apprentice Administrative Assistant (Level 2)

Job description          

Main purpose of job: To perform general administrative duties and provide admin support for company office processes Office duties to include: Managing information production typing letters Updating and working with excel spread sheets Opening post, scanning and photo copying Making appointments Obtaining quotes from Insurers via email and phone Chasing up Insurers via email and phone Money laundering checks and producing retirement packs Answering and directing phone calls and dealing with client queries Inputting client data and updating records online. Requirements and prospects Desired skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with a range of clients Ability to build a rapport and manage client relationships is key Good time management and planning skills Strong I.T skills • Attention to detail and accuracy Customer focused Ability to self-manage and work on own initiative Ability to prioritise own workload and work toward deadlines Strong organisation skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work in a close knit team Personal qualities Practical Confident in own abilities Assertive Not afraid to ask questions Driven and ambitious Conscientious Reliable and punctual Self-reliant, self-motivated, initiative-taker Team player A professional and smart appearance is essential Flexible and adaptable Desired qualifications GCSE grades C / 4 or above in maths and English or AS levels (or equivalent) Acceptance is subject to college interview, initial assessment and taking a skill area test. Future prospects Excellent career prospects. Incentives for targets hit. Things to consider Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
