Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a recent graduate who is eager to secure a long-term role within a fantastic primary school prior to training to teach?

Perhaps you are an enthusiastic and engaging graduate who has previous experience working with young people, for example coaching or tutoring, and now wishes to gain classroom based experience for the full academic year?

Primary Teaching Assistant -- Key Information:
Long-term, full academic year

Paid 300 - 350 per week

Primary Teaching Assistant -- The Role:
Support classes across KS2
Assist with extra-curricular activities including sports
Run interventions across core subjects
Plan, deliver and assess interventions
Gather and create resources
Collaborate with other staff
Liaise with parents/carers where necessary

Primary Teaching Assistant -- Person specification:
Graduate role
2:1 or 1stclass degree
Strong A Levels
Gain experience prior to teacher training
Passionate about education
An interest to eventually become a primary teacher
Ability to offer extra-curricular support e.g. within a sport
