Job description          

Ofgem is committed to making a positive difference for energy consumers through effective regulation of the market and close working with suppliers to ensure sustainable energy for consumers and businesses in the UK. This is a highly visible role within the Corporate Services Directorate and Ofgem. You will provide full range of executive, secretarial and administrative support to a number of Directors in Corporate Services. You will manage diaries, build relationships with suppliers, adapt to ad hoc requests and help to ensure that the department runs smoothly. You will also take responsibility for producing a wide range of reports and presentations, as well as typing letters, emails, meeting minutes and memos.
Experience of supporting multiple senior-level managers is essential. You must be able to demonstrate that you can build a rapport, communicate openly, understand challenges and manage expectations. Excellent organisational, administrative and diary management skills are to be expected; at the same time, you must also be a naturally good networker who can work across departments, engage colleagues and build a wider understanding of the energy sector. The ability to react and respond to changing priorities is vital.
