Hidden Harm and Family Worker - Harrow

Would you like to work closely with a caseload to support families with substances misuse problems? The service Harrow Recovery Centre is an established community Integrated service that is well performing and highly functioning. The service consists of both clinical and psychosocial and is CQC-registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV & health interventions, OST, and community detox, as well as robust family and carers and service user involvement provision. The role The post holder will work from our Harrow service and Children’s Services, undertaking a wide range of functions such as: Ensuring strong partnership links are developed and maintained with the Harrow Local Safeguarding Children and Adults board. Attendance at MARAC, Child Protection and Child in Need meetings. Helping protect both adults and children from abuse. Providing parents with one-to-one and group work support. Promoting the service to the wider community. Delivering and developing training. The successful candidate must be committed, hardworking and highly motivated, and have experience of working with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues. Conditions Salary band of £24,627 - £29,000 per annum Permanent contract 37.5 hours per week Location Harrow Recovery Centre is based on Bessborough Road, close to Harrow-on-the-Hill tube/rail station.
