Visa Compliance Officer

Job description          

The Registry provides a range of services to students and staff at the College. We are looking to recruit an exceptional individual with demonstrably excellent organisational, administrative, data-management and interpersonal skills to work within the Student Visa Compliance functions of the Registry. Duties and responsibilities We are seeking an individual who is able to prioritise a varied workload efficiently and at times, under pressure. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be required to work with/support a multitude of stakeholders and students. You will be required to deliver a culturally sensitive, customer-focused service. You will be a competent ICT user with the ability to work and interrogate large data sets, in order to review/analyse business processes and maintain record integrity. You will have excellent team working qualities, as well as the ability to work independently. Essential requirements The Visa Compliance Team is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the College meets its obligations as Tier 4 Sponsor with the Home Office and UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) authorities. The College is recognised as a higher education provider with a track record of compliance by the Home Office. A competent knowledge of the Tier-4 immigration rules is essential and you will be required to keep abreast of any changes to these. The work of the team spans a number of areas including supporting admissions, registration, and student record management processes in relation to visa compliance.
