We are currently looking for a dependable, highly committed Assistant Psychologist to provide a high standard of care to service users currently receiving care within the Marlowe Low Secure Unit at Hollins Park Hospital in Winwick, Warrington.
The Marlowe Unit is a 15 bedded male Low Secure facility for male service users requiring support, risk assessment and rehabilitation prior to discharge. The Marlowe Unit works collaboratively with a Multi-Disciplinary Team ensuring that high standards of quality care remains a priority.
The post will be based on the Marlowe Unit at Hollins Park Hospital working 37.5 hours per week covering Monday to Sunday 24/7 on a rota basis. This post includes working night hours on a rota basis.
Supporting the service we have a Forensic Outreach Team, Medical Staff, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and Nursing Teams. As part of our role we also act as a gatekeeping service to low secure on behalf of the North West Specialised Commissioning Team.
Successful applicants will be offered a full Trust induction and local work based induction.
Full access is given to mandatory training and service specific training as identified in the Management supervision process.
This post is subject to an enhanced check with adults barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
