Job description

Your role:
Leicester Adult Skills and Learning Service (LASALS) offer a large and diverse programme of further education qualification courses, as well as extensive community based provision. We have a diverse, enthusiastic student community, taught and supported by well qualified, dedicated staff.

Whilst ensuring that learners receive a positive experience and achieve their full potential in their learning journey.

You will evaluate the success of the teaching, in relation to all learners and their learning needs and to have in place strategies that ensure maximum retention.
What you will need:
In addition to excellent communication, interpersonal and administrative skills, you will have the appropriate qualifications, which include: an adult teaching qualification at level 4 with experience of teaching adults aged 16 years and above, subject specific and qualifications at an appropriate level, English at level 2, Maths and IT qualifications at level 2 or a commitment to work towards within 12 months.

You will have commitment and enthusiasm for delivering quality learning experiences to people living and working in Leicester City, as well as the ability to identify individual learning needs, design and plan lessons accordingly.

An enhanced DBS check will be carried out if successful.
