An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sterile Services and Stores Teams in a new post!
As an integral part of the team you will act as systems administrator for the Sterile Services electronic tracking and traceability system (Scantrack ) and the Stores electronic stock management system (PowerGate ) and any additional or replacement systems as these are introduced.
You will also play a key role in maintaining the Quality Management Systems to an excellent standard, including all associated documents and procedures.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
You must be Educated to NVQ Level 4 / Diploma / Foundation degree level in a relevant subject (e.g. ICT, information, decontamination, procurement, quality or governance) or be able to demonstrate the equivalent level of experience in a relevant sector and have an excellent working knowledge of computer applications, e.g. Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
Experience of the following is also essential:
Extracting and interpreting data from internal and external systems (e.g. Scantrack, PowerGate, Datix, Integra)
Producing high quality, professional looking written reports, graphs, presentations and other documents
Working as part of a team and using your own initiative
Prioritising a variable and sometimes challenging workload, with occasional tight deadlines
Working hours will predominantly be Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm however it is essential that you are willing to work flexibly when required. You will be based at QMC but must be able to work at City Hospital campus as and when required.
