West Leicestershire CCG plans and purchases acute and community hospital care along with mental health care and from 1 April 2015 also co-commissions local primary care (GP) services with NHS England. The area covers a population of around 366,000 people and three district council areas: North West Leicestershire, Charnwood, and Hinckley & Bosworth. Part Time Hours may be considered” West Leicestershire CCG leads on Urgent and Emergency Care for the three LLR CCGs and is seeking a motivated, innovated and well-organised Administrative Assistant to support the Urgent Care team. The role is a critical within the Urgent and Emergency Care Team, supporting the management of the team’s key work plans. It is essential that you have experience of preparing agendas, co-ordinating and preparing reports and producing accurate minutes for key meetings, data management and database maintenance as well as invoice payments. The remuneration for this role is between £21,089 - £23,761 pa. The hours are 37.5 per week, preferably 9am-5pm. You will be based at the CCG’s Headquarters in Woodgate, Loughborough but will be required to travel to different sites. We are looking for a candidate who has: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience of working in a fast paced and confidential administrative role Ability to follow processes in a methodical manner A strong ability to manage and prioritise work loads A flexible and confident approach to work Friendly, approachable and highly motivated The ability to use their own initiative and be a team player Applicants must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent written and oral communication skills and have experience of minute taking. Previous experience within the Health Care environment would be advantageous.
