HR Officer

Job description          

We are looking to appoint an HR Officer to support the delivery of an effective HR service to managers and employees within the NDM Experimental Medicine Division. This is an integral role which supports the Human Resources Department by: delivering an effective HR service across the areas of recruitment, starters and leavers and performance management by applying correct policies in these areas, developing and maintaining effective HR administrative systems and working collaboratively with others; supporting employee relations activities by working closely with the other HR Officers and the Business Manager ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times. In order to be successful in this role you will need to have excellent organisational skills, the ability to communicate effectively and well developed IT skills. You will have previous experience of working within Human Resources, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience of using an automated HR system would be an advantage although full training will be provided. The post is fixed-term for up to 3 years in the first instance.
