Job description          

The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is a major international research institute within the NDPH, and is one of the world’s leading centres for research into chronic diseases, such as cancer and heart disease. As Data Coordinator you will work on the ACST-2 study (https://acst-2.org/). Your primary objectives will be to liaise with all collaborating organisations and individuals required to ensure the smooth running of the study, with a particular emphasis on data collection, management and processing. You will supervise data entry activities of trial administrators and report directly to the Clinical Trial Manager. To be considered for this post you will have a degree (or equivalent experience) and experience of clinical trial data management. You will also have experience using data management systems, a flexible attitude and excellent organisation skills. The post is full-time (although part-time considered) and fixed-term for 2 years.
