We strive to make sure our children’s education is rich, stimulating and fun, we also value and appreciate all the children’s hard work and effort during their time in school. https://www.broughton.bucks.sch.uk About the role Main duties and responsibilities Management of the School’s finances, including School Budget and other external funding, to ensure that the School achieves best value-for-money in all financial transactions, and to ensure that all aspects of SFVS are being maintained. This to include management of the School Fund, under the terms of registration with the Charity Commission budget planning, including the preparation of annual forecasts and budgets, in consultation with the Headteacher preparing financial reports as required by the Headteacher, Governing Body and other budget holders; attending meetings of the Governing Body as required, to present reports for Quarterly CFR and on other financial matters See attached Job Description for more information. About you We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified person as our School Bursar. The successful applicant will be proactive, flexible, motivated and have the ability to work accurately under pressure and as part of a successful team. You will need to have a good understand of financial systems, human resources, excellent people skills and have a high standard of IT skills. Experience in an education setting using SIMS and FMS and qualifications in financial management, accountancy or business management would be desirable, but not essential as training will be available.
