Ecommerce/Marketplace Assistant will be supporting the day-to-day running of our UK and US marketplace channels and will also include assisting with the trading of the ecommerce website.
This is a varied role based predominantly on the marketplaces side of the business whilst providing a small amount support to the ecommerce team
Build on an already flourishing part of the business by supporting the ecommerce and marketplace team. The marketplace side of the role will specifically focus on purchase order, intake management and trading analysis. The role will also consist of Amazon SEO and product listing optimisation.
The ecommerce side of the role will contribute in supplying product data, images, videos and other assets to grow online conversion and build sessions. The role will also consist of weekly trading reports as well as forecasting sales techniques in a commercial climate.
Including but not limited to;
Update weekly trading report prior to Monday trade meetings
Provide Monday trading analysis and any ad hoc analysis to support Marketplace Manager
Monitor the forecast, and identify gaps in future stock levels, to ensure products are always in stock
Responsible for creating and amending all FBA transfer orders on Seller Central
Liaise with the warehouse to manage the tracking of intake into Amazon fulfilment centres
Create engaging quality content for Amazon platform, in line with brand tone of voice
Upload new products and imagery onto the platforms prior to each season
Update and maintain existing product listings and ensure images, content and keywords are fully optimised
Follow up seller reviews with product review request templates
Export and update product reviews – summarising key themes for wider teams
Use Data Insight tools to monitor campaigns and customer journeys online, reporting regularly on findings
Use Google Analytics to report on Traffic and Acquisition, monitoring trends to share with internal teams
Support marketplace/ecommerce in Paid Search and SEO
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Marketing/Business/Ecommerce Degree or similar
Experience working with ecommerce/marketplaces is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of ecommerce platforms, content management systems and ecommerce site operations tasks
Copy writing skills with excellent grammar and spelling
